So I made this bread yesterday and had to make it again today becuse it disapeard to quickly. My children, all born in the US, never ate good Czech bread with nice crunchy crust. I had many compliments from them so I am passing them on to you. Thank you Krystýna.

The best way, the only way to make our eats,step by step instructions genius,well done,my mom gave me recipe for rye bread.Same idea only I use 1cup rye fl,also make from same dough,Dalamanky.

Just wondering if type of potato matters as some are more starchy then others.
I don’t think it does in here. The starchy ones will not be as visible in the bread since they don’t hold it’s shape well. But it shouldn’t effect the taste.
Have you ever tried baking this bread in a cast iron dutch oven like your rye bread recipe? If yes, for how long and at what temperature?
I haven’t tried it.
