Chocolate Frosting – Čokoládová poleva

In those moments when you need frosting but forgot to buy it, now you can make super simple chocolate frosting at home with just a few ingredients that you most likely already have. Plus it is all made from scratch and nothing beats that.
Tips:
- It can be made thicker or more runny. It all depends on how much water you
use. If you want your frosting to be more runny then you might need to use
more water, but add it very slowly drop by drop to not have it too runny. If you accidentally end up with frosting that is too runny, add more powdered sugar. - If you are not going to use the frosting right away cover it with plastic
wrap to prevent the surface layer from drying and hardening.
Makes: 10 ounces (280 g)
Total Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
1 1⁄2 cups (180 g) powdered sugar
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1⁄2 stick (1⁄4 cup / 4 Tbsp / 55 g) unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons water plus more as needed
Directions:
- Into a medium sized bowl sift together 1 ½ cups powdered sugar and
2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa. - Add ½ stick melted unsalted butter and 2 Tbsp water and whisk well.

Thanks for sharing the recipe, it looks moist and delicious!
Thank you :) It is very yummy! Hope you will try it. :)
Hi
I made this with splenda and it is fantastic but needs to be processed in a blender due to the splenda texture. I also made the Pernik with apple sauce instead of the fat and I used Gluten Free white flour 1 for 1 ratio. The recipe is so good, it worked just as written. Fantastic childhood memories from this!!!
Thank you so much!!!
I am happy to hear! ☺️
