Christmas Bread – Vánočka
Vánočka is soft, slightly sweet, and aromatic. It is often enjoyed sliced with butter, jam, or just on its own during Christmas breakfasts. In my family we pair it with hot cocoa. Long time ago it used to be known as “Houska”.

This is one of my favorite dishes and it turned out amazing! I’ve never quite been able to get the recipe right and following this recipe was exactly like I remembered growing up! Yum!
