How To Easily Clean Your Old Baking Molds
In the video I am showing my old baking molds from my grandma and how easy it is to clean them without much work.I hope this video helps you to give another life to your old or dirty molds.
You will need:
6 tsp baking powder (More or less depending on the amount of molds you are cleaning.)
pot with water
cleaning towel dark color
Directions:
- Add dirty molds into a pot. Don’t stack them on top of each other. Have them loosely in the pot.
- Add hot water into the pot so all the molds are submerged.
- Turn on the heat and bring them almost to the boil.
- Add baking powder and stir. Bring it to boil.
- Boil on gentle boil for 15 minutes.
- Pour the molds carefully into a colander and rinse them. Wipe each mold with cleaning towel. (Wiping them will clean the dirt left in crevices.)

I’m in the United States. Just want to confirm if I should be using Baking Powder or Baking Soda.
