For other vegetables I would use different recipe. I will be working on more canning videos in a future. :) Many greetings to Canada. ;)
Czechs in Texas always put a head of dill weed in the jar.
I currently live in Italy and finding red beets AND dill are hard.
I have to grow my own dill in the garden.
But dill weed in the jar really adds a nice touch…like my grandmother’s kitchen.
Sounds great! I will have to try it. Thank you. Even though we usually add dill only to pickles, but why not. :) Wow, I had no idea it would be hard to find red beets and dill in Italy. I am growing beets and trying to grow dill. :)
